Welcome to the homepage of 徐芳 (Xu, Fang)
Fang Xu is a lecturer of the Department of Economics at the Univeristy of Reading. She obtained a degree of Doctor Scientiarum Politicarum in quantitative economics from Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel in 2008 and has a Master of Arts in Economics and Management Science from Humboldt-University Berlin. After graduation, she has been a postdoctoral fellow of the Max Weber Programme at the European University Institute in Florence for two years. From 2010 to 2011, she has been a visiting scholar at the University of Pennsylvania and Birkbeck College, University of London. Until 2011, she was also a research associate at University of Kiel.
Her research interest comprises time series econometrics, empirical macroeconomics and finance. Her studies have been published in journals such as Journal of Econometrics, Computational Statistics & Data Analysis, Journal of Time Series Econometrics, Journal of International Money and Finance, The Manchester School, Applied Economic Letters, and Empirical Economics.
