Welcome to the homepage of 徐芳 (Xu, Fang)

Fang Xu is a lecturer of the Department of Economics at the Univeristy of Reading. She obtained a degree of Doctor Scientiarum Politicarum in quantitative economics from Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel in 2008 and has a Master of Arts in Economics and Management Science from Humboldt-University Berlin. After graduation, she has been a postdoctoral fellow of the Max Weber Programme at the European University Institute in Florence for two years. From 2010 to 2011, she has been a visiting scholar at the University of Pennsylvania and Birkbeck College, University of London. Until 2011, she was also a research associate at University of Kiel.
 
Her research interest comprises time series econometrics, empirical macroeconomics and finance. Her studies have been published in journals such as Journal of EconometricsComputational Statistics & Data AnalysisJournal of Time Series Econometrics, Journal of International Money and Finance, The Manchester School, Applied Economic Letters, and Empirical Economics.
